Srinagar, Mar 31 (KNO): The government on Wednesday said that the new power schedule for Kashmir consumers is being prepared and that the schedule will be announced in two-three days. Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Chief Engineer Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), Aijaz Ahmad Dar, said that the fresh power is being prepared by the officials at present. “The winter schedule presently in force will be changed within two to three days,” he said. Pertinently, Dar had told KNO that the power schedule will be changed at the end of March. He had stated that with the end of winter season, the department is taking steps to change the schedule. Dar today said that the season would be free of curtailment, adding that the electricity may get affected only when there is any bottleneck. He added that the schedule would have been changed in case the people could have cooperated with the department—(KNO)
